Calcium silicate bricks have been shown by test and practical
experience to be suitable in all masonry configurations designed to meet
the appropriate Building Regulations for sound insulation,
thermal insulation and fire resistance.
Durability
- Calcium silicate bricks are resistant to sulphates in
soils and ground waters, chlorides, organic growths, atmospheric
pollution, coastal environments and frost action. They contain
negligible soluble salts and are therefore free from efflorescence.
They can be considered equivalent to FL quality clay bricks and are
also tolerant of chlorine atmospheres e.g. swimming pool buildings.
